Wesco Inc. Was founded in 2006, as a single mother I just wanted to provide a home for my son. Faced with constant rejections for credit and not qualifying for a mortgage, I became frustrated with leaving my fate in their hands and waiting on them for my "Yes". As a result, I chose to educate myself on other options to achieve my aspiration.
Through my countless hours of research and self-education I found that these banks, and realtors did not have my best interest at heart. My goals did not fit into their commission-based agenda, which is why "No", "Denied", and "Unfortunately" were the only responses I received. Ultimately, resulting in no financial assistance at all in my hopes of becoming a home-owner.
However, I was not going to let their "No" deter me, especially because I had my son depending on me, I vowed that I was going to succeed in achieving my goal one way or another; I decided I would do it myself. I became a licensed realtor and later earned my MBA and MSM. Now armed with the necessary knowledge, I was prepared to buy my own home. I purchased my 5 bedroom dream home with a monthly payment of $1100, which is cheaper and more financially responsible than renting a 1 bedroom apartment.
After all of this, I contemplated about how many other people have faced the same hardships and dilemmas as me in this process: feeling alone and not receiving the help they need in trying to become a home-owner. I thought to myself, If I can do it, then so can others. With this in mind and my passion to help others, Wesco Inc. was officially born.
